Ruixing MFG - Custom CNC Machined Parts Manufacturer & Supplier For 20 Years
5-axis CNC machining is particularly useful for components with complex three-dimensional surfaces, multiple angled features, deep cavities or geometries that are difficult to access using conventional 3-axis machining.
A major advantage is the ability to machine multiple surfaces or features with fewer setups. This can reduce setup-related errors and improve positional relationships between critical features.
However, 5-axis machining is not automatically better for every component. For relatively simple parts, 3-axis or 4-axis machining may provide a more economical solution.
At RuiXing MFG, the machining process is selected according to the geometry and functional requirements of the component rather than using 5-axis machining simply as a marketing specification.
