What should I do if I am not sure which machining process, material or surface finish I need?

You do not need to determine every manufacturing detail before contacting us.

                                                                                                                                                         

If you have an engineering drawing or 3D model, send it to our team together with the required quantity and application information. Our engineers can review the component and evaluate the material, machining process, tolerances, surface treatment and inspection requirements.

                                                                                                                                                         

For example, if you know that you need a corrosion-resistant stainless steel component but are unsure whether 316L, another stainless steel grade, passivation or PVD coating is most appropriate, we can review the application requirements and discuss suitable options.

Can you manufacture parts for aerospace, medical, motorsport or high-performance applications?

Yes. Our CNC machining capabilities can support precision components used in demanding industries and applications, including aerospace-related components, medical equipment, motorsport, automation and other high-performance applications.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               

However, different industries may have very different requirements for materials, traceability, inspection, documentation and regulatory compliance.

We therefore recommend providing the application and relevant quality requirements when requesting a quotation so that the appropriate manufacturing and inspection approach can be evaluated.

Can you sign an NDA before receiving technical drawings?

NDA requirements can be discussed before sharing confidential technical information.

For many engineering projects, drawings and CAD models contain proprietary information, so protecting customer intellectual property is an important part of supplier cooperation.

If your company requires an NDA before technical documents are reviewed, please indicate this when contacting us. The appropriate agreement and document-sharing process can then be arranged before detailed project information is exchanged.

Can you maintain consistency between production batches?
Yes. Batch-to-batch consistency depends on controlled materials, machining processes, tooling, inspection procedures and documentation.
                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               

For repeat production, maintaining the same drawing revision, material specification, machining process and inspection requirements helps reduce variation.

For projects with particularly strict consistency requirements, customers can provide statistical, inspection or process-control requirements during the RFQ stage so that the appropriate quality controls can be established.

Can you support repeat production after prototype approval?
Yes. Prototype production can be used to validate dimensions, materials, surface finishes and functional requirements before moving into repeat production.
Once a component has been approved, production can be standardized through documented drawings, approved samples, process parameters, inspection requirements and quality records.
For repeat orders, process optimization can also help improve consistency and production efficiency.
We recommend maintaining the same drawing revision and clearly communicating any engineering changes between orders. This helps avoid producing parts according to outdated specifications.

Do you offer EXW or FOB pricing?
Commercial terms can be discussed according to the customer's purchasing requirements.
EXW and FOB are two common options for international CNC machining orders.
Under EXW, the buyer generally takes responsibility for arranging transportation from the supplier's facility. Under FOB, the supplier handles the required export arrangements and delivery to the agreed loading point under the applicable Incoterms.
The appropriate term depends on your company's purchasing process, freight arrangements and destination.
For an accurate quotation, please specify your preferred Incoterm when possible.

Can you provide custom packaging?
Yes. Packaging can be customized according to the component's geometry, surface finish, quantity and transportation requirements.
Depending on the product, packaging may include:
- Bubble bags
- Bubble envelopes
- Zip-lock bags
- Pearl cotton bags
- Custom foam protection
- Custom foam boxes
- Kraft paper
- Cartons and export packaging
For components with PVD, polishing, anodizing or other sensitive finishes, individual protection may be recommended to reduce scratching or surface damage during transportation.
If your company has a specific packaging standard, it can be provided with the RFQ.

Do you support international shipping?
Yes. We supply CNC machined components to international customers and can arrange export packaging and shipping according to the agreed commercial terms.
Shipping options depend on the destination, order size, urgency and customer requirements. Air freight is generally suitable for smaller or time-sensitive shipments, while sea freight may be more economical for larger shipments.
For an accurate logistics quotation, the destination country and, where necessary, the delivery address are required.

What is the typical CNC machining lead time?
Lead time depends on material availability, part complexity, quantity, machining requirements, surface treatment, inspection and current production capacity.
A simple prototype can generally be processed much faster than a complex batch requiring multiple machining operations, special materials and surface treatment.
For production quantities, process optimization and tooling preparation may increase the initial setup period but can improve production efficiency afterward.
We recommend confirming the required delivery date when requesting a quotation. This allows the production schedule, material purchasing, machining, inspection and surface finishing requirements to be considered together.

Can you manufacture parts with complex geometries?
Yes. Complex components can be manufactured using a combination of CNC milling, turning, 5-axis machining, Swiss-type turning and other machining processes where appropriate.
The suitability of a process depends on the actual geometry. Features such as deep cavities, angled surfaces, intersecting holes, complex contours and multiple datum relationships may require specialized machining strategies.
For complex parts, a 3D model is particularly useful during the engineering review.
We evaluate the component before production to determine how many setups, machines and operations may be required and whether any features require design adjustments.

Can you help review my drawing before production?
Yes. Drawing review and manufacturability evaluation are important parts of custom CNC machining.
Our engineers can review features such as:
- Tight tolerances
- Deep pockets
- Thin walls
- Small holes
- Internal corners
- Threads
- Difficult tool-access areas
- Complex 3D surfaces
- Material selection
- Surface treatment
- Inspection requirements
The purpose of a DFM review is not simply to make the part cheaper. It can also identify potential manufacturing risks before production begins and help ensure that the finished component meets its intended function.

CNC machining pricing depends on multiple factors rather than simply material cost.
Important cost drivers include:

- Geometry and complexity
- Machining time
- Number of setups
- Tooling requirements
- Programming
- Tolerance requirements
- Surface treatment
- Inspection requirements
- Quantity
- Packaging
- Shipping terms
For example, a complex 5-axis component may require significantly more machining time and setup work than a simple 3-axis component, even when the material and overall dimensions are similar.
Higher quantities can reduce the unit cost because programming, setup and process optimization costs are distributed across more parts.
